How to choose a nail salon in Nha Trang
There is no ranking here. What you get is six questions to ask, how to read a Google Maps page in thirty seconds, and how we decide which addresses are listed.
Six questions, ordered by importance
- 1
Cuticle tools
“Are the cuticle nippers separate for each customer?”
Cuticle nippers are the only tool in the set that can draw blood. A shared nipper that has not been steamed is a real risk, not a cosmetic issue.
- 2
The lamp
“How many watts, and when are the bulbs changed?”
A weak lamp leaves gel partly cured: the set lifts after a few days and excess colour stays on the skin. Salons that care about this usually answer straight away.
- 3
How old gel is taken off
“Acetone soak, or filing and prying?”
Over-filing or prying takes away the surface layer. Thin nails afterwards are a sign of the method, not of the polish quality.
- 4
A quote before it starts
“What is the total for the whole set today?”
Listed prices are usually the nail part only; art, stones, taking off old gel and taking off lashes are added. Asking for the full total before sitting down is how to avoid the unpleasant part.
- 5
Recent activity
“Check the Google Maps page: how old is the newest review?”
A salon with no review in a year may have changed owners, hours or prices. Our directory drops those places.
- 6
Language and opening hours
“What time does it actually shut, and does anyone speak English, Korean or Russian?”
The coastal area has many salons serving Korean and Russian customers with bilingual signs; the central area is priced more locally but with less English.
How to read a salon Google Maps page in 30 seconds
- The status line: "Permanently closed" means do not go. "Temporarily closed" is just closing time.
- The date of the newest review: a year with no review is usually a sign the salon changed owners or hours.
- The review count: under 20 reviews an average means almost nothing; 20 or more with a score that is steady over months is more trustworthy than an unusually high score.
- Customer photos: look at real nails in customer photos, not the salon album.
- Closing time: compare it with when you are free; most salons in Nha Trang shut between 19:00 and 23:00 depending on the area.
Two things this page does not do
- No ranking, no self-given scores, no "best" badges.
- No phone numbers or Instagram: those belong on the salon Google Maps page, where they stay fresher. Google scores, review counts and hours appear here only as a dated quote: the hours line from their page, not a schedule we wrote.

Frequently asked questions
Does this page rank salons?
No. The directory lists by area and alphabetically. We do not hand out badges, do not score, and do not pick a best salon.
Why does the page not say "best nail salon in Nha Trang"?
Because we do not have enough evidence to say that. What this page can do is list which places are open, where, at what price, and which criteria were used to include them.
Which criteria should I trust most?
The cuticle tools and how gel is taken off. Those two decide your safety and the state of your nails; the rest is personal preference.
